I will be speaking of the dangers of AI with mātauranga Māori and how artists and reo speakers can mitigate some of these risks. We will discuss Māori language revitalisation and normalisation and how we can best adapt the technologies before international corporations make it too late for us to retrieve any hope of Māori led AI te reo revitalisation projects.
